Dr. Kimberley Palmiotto, or Dr. Kim as the kids know her, is a Licensed Educational Psychologist and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.  Dr. Palmiotto's 20+ years of experience includes teaching, counseling, psychological assessment, educational intervention, school neuropsychology and art therapy.  Dr. Palmiotto has worked in both private and public school setting with children and adolescents from preschool through college.  A special focus to whole child assessment and intervention is made in her practice.   She is a registered Art Therapist, diplomate of the American Board of School Neuropsychology (ABSNP), and a certified therapist in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).  

Dr. Palmiotto is a part of a number of different professional organizations.  She has been a guest speaker and presenter at a number of workshops and trainings throughout the United States.  In addition, she is a published author with publications in the professional journal,  the National Association for School Psychologists -Communique, and special works focused on various topics including:  expressive therapies in school mental health, relational aggression in girls, children's books, and early childhood emotional regulation curriculum.  

Dr. Palmiotto works as a practicing practitioner in  Maryland and California as well as being licensed in Oklahoma.  She travels for private evaluations, teacher and parent trainings throughout the school year, nationwide.  She is married with 4 daughters and has used many of the parenting challenges that come with raising multiple children as opportunities to enhance her work with children and families.
